Bought 3 different universal remotes from radio shack and all of the remotes had my TV listed with a code.
#2007 polaroid tv code#
Are they just stupid or what? No code that Directv had would work eather.

They said that there isno such thing as codes. Called up Polaroid and asked them about codes for my Directv remote. Then the remote stopped working earlier this year 2011. Called them up and wanted me to mail it to China to be fixed. Walmart said that it had to be fixed by Polaroid. In 3 months or so the DVD player quit working. I want to know how or what I can do as well!?! I got one of these 32 ” HD TV back in 2007. I will definately do more research on my next purchase. This is rediculous and I would like to be a part of this class action suit to recoup my money spent and any other small damages so that I can buy a more reliable brand. And to think that it could all have been avoided by Polaroid informing the public and issuing a recall on the defective TVs. I sometimes fall asleep with the TV on as I am sure many consumers do as well. If this had occurred an hour later, after I fell asleep, a fire could have engulfed us through the night. Now I am without a TV and it could have been worse. I am very upset to find this is a common problem with the brand. Despite the mother board Polaroid sent to replace to broken unit, the dvd failed again. The dvd component had already failed over two years ago, about 3 months after I purchased it from Wal-mart. My 32-inch tv/dvd combo just started making this sizzling noise on yesterday, Labor Day, and smoke began to emit from the back.
